EFLM Continuing Professional Education Credit System – CPECS®

The EFLM Strategic Conference 2024 has been submitted for CPECS® accreditation to deliver CPECS® credits for participants.

The EFLM CPECS® is an administrative system that provides a quality assurance mechanism for the accreditation of continuing education events based on high-quality continuing education content in laboratory medicine and relevant scientific topics. In those countries where a national crediting system is not in place, the CPECS® system can directly represent the system adopted at national level for the certification of the educational events and may recognize CPECS® credits on a voluntary basis.

Breakdown of credits

A maximum of 13 CPECS® credits can be awarded for the educational sessions of the EFLM Strategic Conference 2024. Each delegate interested in getting the CPECS® credits must sign in and out on appropriate register at the Secretariat Desk for each session they attend.

23 Sept - First Session: CREATING VALUE FOR USERS - 3.5 CPECS® credits
23 Sept - Second Session: CHANGING THE ORGANIZATION – 3.5 CPECS® credits
24 Sept – Third Session: ETHICAL ASPECTS IN LABORATORY MEDICINE – 3 CPECS® credits
24 Sept – Fourth Session: THE FUTURE OF LABORATORY PROFESSIONALS – 3 CPECS® credits

Each participant must attend at least 75% of each session to get CPECS® credits.

Once the congress is over, only delegates with 75% of attendance will receive a specific email with the evaluation questionnaire to fill in. At the end of the whole process, the CPECS® certificate will be issued and sent to the entitled participants.
